Ghost publishing means we handle the entire publishing process for you — from editing your manuscript to listing your book on Amazon and beyond. You write the book (or we write it in our Ghostwriter tier), and we do everything else. Your name is always on the cover. We never claim credit or ownership of your work.

Ghost publishing (Tiers 1–3) means you provide the manuscript and we handle everything after — editing, design, formatting, distribution, and marketing. Ghostwriting (Tier 4) means our team writes the book using your ideas, outline, and voice. In both cases, you are the credited author and retain 100% of your rights.

We work with memoir, fiction, non-fiction, business books, self-help, Christian and faith-based titles, children's books, and more. We reserve the right to decline projects with illegal, defamatory, or harmful content.

The Starter is best if you have a finished manuscript and just need polish and prep. The Author is our most popular option for full editing, cover, and distribution. No. All package prices are flat, one-time fees. The only potential additions are extra revision rounds ($150 per round) and custom add-ons you specifically request. We always quote any additional cost in writing before proceeding.

Never. We charge a one-time flat fee. Every dollar your book earns goes directly to you. We have no ongoing financial interest in your book.

The Starter — 2 to 3 weeks. The Author — 4 to 6 weeks. The Ghost Publisher — 6 to 8 weeks. The Ghostwriter — 12 to 16 weeks. Timelines vary based on manuscript length, revision rounds, and how quickly you provide feedback.

Starter — 1 round. Author & Ghost Publisher — 2 rounds. Ghostwriter — 3 rounds. Additional rounds are available at $150 each.

For Tiers 1–3, a completed or near-complete manuscript in Word (.docx) or Google Docs format. For the Ghostwriter tier, your outline, key ideas, personal stories, or notes. We'll walk you through everything at your kickoff call.

You do. 100%. Upon full payment, you retain all intellectual property rights. The Pen & Prowess Publishing Co. claims no ownership, copyright interest, or royalty share — ever.

We operate with full confidentiality. For ghostwritten projects, we sign a strict NDA and will never disclose our involvement without your explicit written consent.

A 50% deposit is due upon signing your contract. The remaining 50% balance is due upon final approval. Final files are released within 24 hours of the balance being received.

Cancel within 24 hours of payment for a full refund minus a $150 administrative fee. Once an ISBN is assigned, all payments are strictly non-refundable with no exceptions.
